Ready for the Holidays

Red is one of the most popular colors to wear during the holiday seasons. It is timeless and very elegant. It is my favorite color! I 'm not going to lie half of the dresses I own are red. I never get tired of seeing this color. I guess you could say that I am into bright colors. This dress might not be in everyone's budget, but I did find a similar style for $23 (click here to view). Black and White for Work

Today's outfit of the days is for the guys. This look is perfect for the office. I would say this look is more business casual. You can wear this white dress shirt with jeans for casual Fridays or wear it with trousers on regular work days. Black and white are two colors that are easy to style. My Floral Print Dress

  I bought this dress a couple days ago from Nordstrom Rack. This dress is can be worn in the fall, spring or summer. Since its gotten a little warm outside, I decided to wear it today. If you want you can even add on a denim jacket over it.  I added some accessories that I wore with this outfit for you all below.

Who's ready for New Year? I know I am. This weekend I was shopping and found this super cute outfit. This dress is from Free People. Their outfits are so laid back. I love it! This dress(click here to see) can be worn with legging or thigh high boots. You can also add on a belt and wear as a top over jeans.

Need a jacket to wear this upcoming winter season? No worries, I got you covered. Today, I rounded up my top 5 picks for you all. The first jacket is more formal, you can wear this jacket to a dinner party or cocktail party. The second jacket can be worn everyday. This jacket is more casual than the first one. You  can definitely were the second jacket with a more casual outfit. The third jacket is a military style jacket. Which is also a little more casual than my first pick, but works with almost anything. Especially with black, grey, navy blue  and other darker colors.  The fourth jacket is more formal. The fifth jacket is nice when you want to wear an outfit that is a little more causal, but you want to keep it clean. All these jackets are linked above. A jacket is definitely an item worth investing because you can wear it year after year. I have also added some more affordable alternatives for you all below, just in case you don't plan on spending more than $500 on a jacket. The jackets that I added for you all below are all under $100.

Books that I am reading right now

I am currently reading "Power you Happy" by Lisa Sugar. Let me just say this book has changed my life. It is inspiring and intriguing. STYLISH GIRL IN TOWN

Are you been debating on what to wear this morning? Try going for a jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are perfect for spring. You can definitely wear them all year long. Just add some knee high boots to a jumpsuit for the fall and you are good to go! For spring try adding a pair of Sandals. I am really liking these sandals  (here's a similar one for a much lower price). Just to let you know that I've added some more affordable alternatives to this outfit above in the carousel below (you can click on the images for more information). Another must-have item on my list are earrings. Earrings bring life to an outfit. I have added several earrings that I liked in the carousel above.
