My Street style

     I have been so busy lately planning out all my vacations and holidays out. This year I made it a goal to travel more. I am trying to travel as much as I can, because life is too short. I believe in living life to the fullest. The older I get the more I start to realize this. This year I will be going to Canada for the very first time. I am excited about the trip coming up. I also am planning a trip to another country I have not been before I haven't exactly decided where to next, but I am planning. I also will be attending a few fashion events hear and there this year, so yeah you can say I will be pretty busy. Each day that passes I feel like my schedule is getting more crammed. Which is why I have been behind on posting.  If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and why? I am open to suggestions.

Today's outfit of the day is classy. This look is perfect for a gala or a special event. This dress will make you look like a modern princess.

 This lace dress is so chic. This dress accentuates the body and is so elegant.  Red is a color that really pops out and it's a color that will never go out of style. I am so ready for Spring to arrive! I can hardly wait. I bought this dress a couple months ago. I added the link for you all above. I also linked some similar styles for you all in carousel above.  This particular dress that I am wearing is nice for you to wear to work or even a music festival like Coachella. For a music festival, I would suggest wearing this dress with gladiators instead of heels. The best part is that this dress is that it's only $24 (click here to view it) ! Its a bargain!

My Purple Lace Dress

So recently I went to the Loft and found this adorable dress on their one day sale. It is a petite size, which will run short if you are tall. So if you are not looking for a short dress I would recommend you try another style. This dress(click here) is perfect for a cocktail party or any other party. I love the color, this color works with almost anything. It is perfect for the night. You can even wear this dress with leggings and boots.  This dress is under $100 and it's a good deal if you are looking for a cocktail dress. If you are looking for a dress that is a little longer I would recommend this dress(click here to view) . If you like shorter dresses then you can try the petite size. Just remember the sizing is different for taller girls. So if you are normally a small in other clothing, you might be a large or medium in petite. It all depends on the design and style of the dress. Sometimes petite clothes can  work for taller people. It all depends where you shop and your body type. I would recommend you try it out first, just to see.

 Are you ready for Fall 2016? It might be a little early in the real world, but in the fashion world, fall has already started. As you probably might have noticed a lot of the fall wardrobe already began popping into stores.  Nordstrom just launched a sale this week. Other stores have just started to add their fall wardrobe. Wondering where these outfits are from? The pieces seen above are all from: HouseOfCB.com  If you have never visited the site, I suggest you go check it out.  Celebrities such as the Kardashians, Jennifer Lopez, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid all shop there. The clothes from this site (HouseOfCB.com) are more affordable than the average stores that celebrities shop at. You don't have pay that much to look like a Hollywood star. Which is another reason why I like it.

What you need for Summer 2016

Wedding

This month a lot of my friends are getting married or are engaged. Plus a lot of my readers and followers have been asking me what can they wear to a wedding. So I thought why not write a post on that ! Here are some of your questions answered:

Can I wear white to a wedding?

-Personally I do not recommend wearing white, it takes the attention away from the bride. Especially if you are a guest. Now, if you are the  sister of the bride try incorporating it with some other color like red. Do not go all white! Unless the bride is wearing red or some other color.

How do I dress for an Indian wedding?

-A couple days ago I was invited to a traditional Indian wedding from one of my friends and I myself am not Indian. I suggest wearing a formal outfit with lots of colors. You want to look nice. If you are trying to blend in then try going for a traditional sari or lengha. Don't forget to add jewelry! Jewelry is a must in Indian weddings!

How do I choose an outfit without upstaging the bride?

- By avoiding any outfit that is all white! For daytime weddings, go for pieces with bright colors. For nighttime weddings go for bolder darker colors like red, dark blue or purple. Don't forget to add accessories (accessories are a must)!

Can I wear black to a wedding?

-I personally do not like wearing black to weddings, kind of feels like I'm going to a funeral not a wedding. If you want to wear an all black outfit, add some color to it. You can add a pair of earrings, a necklace or a pair of sparkly stilettos. 

Can I wear print to a wedding?

-Sure, as long as its not too crazy or wild! Remember this is a formal event, not a day at fashion week!
